{"id":5523,"date":"2016-08-05T17:00:01","date_gmt":"2016-08-05T15:00:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mykonos-flora.gr\/en\/parfe-giaourtiou-me-kabourdismenous-xhrous-karpous\/"},"modified":"2023-06-12T13:47:15","modified_gmt":"2023-06-12T13:47:15","slug":"ice-cream-parfait-with-roasted-nuts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mykonos-flora.gr\/en\/ice-cream-parfait-with-roasted-nuts\/","title":{"rendered":"Ice cream parfait with roasted nuts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">for the syrup<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>320g granulated sugar<\/li>\n<li>200ml water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">for the parfait<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>150g sour cream<\/li>\n<li>200g full-fat yogurt<\/li>\n<li>100g roasted almonds, coarsely chopped<\/li>\n<li>100g roasted hazelnuts, coarsely chopped<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preparation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Make the syrup first: Boil sugar with water for 2 minutes until it melts and remove from heat.<\/p>\n<p>Beat the cream at the highest speed until it gets fluffy and then reduce speed and slowly add the hot syrup, beating the meringue until it&#8217;s tight.<\/p>\n<p>Pour the mixture into a bowl and add the yogurt, stirring gently.<\/p>\n<p>Slowly add the nuts and stir up until all ingredients are incorporated into the mixture.<\/p>\n<p>Pour the mixture into an ice cream container and let it freeze well in the freezer before serving.<\/p>\n<p>Put the parfait in a cake pan and place in the freezer. Leave for at least 6 hours or overnight.
