The Morelli family pasta business dates back to 1860, boasting a history of more than 160 years. Today, the fifth generation—siblings Lucia, Antonio, and Marco—carry on the legacy of quality, carefully selecting the finest semolina, processed using traditional methods with true craftsmanship and dedication.

The result is premium-quality pasta, free from preservatives and artificial colorings, with a uniquely rich and delicious flavor.

What makes it different

The secret lies in one key ingredient that is absent from most conventional pasta: wheat germ. This is the very heart of the grain, naturally rich in vitamins A and D, as well as plant-based protein.

During standard milling processes, wheat germ is typically removed from the semolina. As a result, most common pasta is produced without it.

However, thanks to the methods used by the Morelli family, fresh wheat germ is reintroduced into the semolina. This is what truly sets their pasta apart. With decades of expertise, the Morelli family has perfected a product with a distinctive flavor and aroma that is released during cooking—while the water may take on a slightly green hue, a natural result of the fresh wheat germ.
