Chardonnay

Chardonnay is one of the most popular and versatile white wine varieties in the world. Originally from France’s Burgundy region, this grape has spread globally, producing wines that range from light and delicate to rich and buttery. Chardonnay’s flavor profile varies widely depending on its growing region and aging process. It can feature notes of green apple, citrus, and pear, or, if aged in oak barrels, hints of vanilla, butterscotch, and tropical fruit. Its balanced acidity and smooth texture make it a favorite choice for pairing with a variety of foods, from seafood and poultry to creamy pasta.
